mod_jumpmenu.php injects unwanted space above Jump
First, thank you for making this module available to the Joomla community - it's great!
After some frustrating time trying to style the CSS for JumpMenu, I have found that the file "mod_jumpmenu.php" does not appear to be encoded correctly. There is a byte order mark (BOM) in the file which causes the Unicode Character 'ZERO WIDTH NO-BREAK SPACE' (U+FEFF) (#65279) to be injected in the display of the JumpMenu module. This creates unwanted space on the web page above the JumpMenu. Attached is a screenshot of your demo page, which shows the behavior. This impacts the ability to accurately style CSS on a Joomla template which uses the module. I used a program called File BOM Detector to identify & remove the issue from the .php file, and this resolved the formatting. I would recommend that you re-encode mod_jumpmenu.php to do the same.
Best regards
