Module goes into wrong position

So assuming I am doing this right, for the module position I just choose any position in my template. Which I do, and the module shows up there instead of on the left site:

Looking at pasts posts I see you saying a Jquery issue but I don't know how to look for that or correct ,if you can perhaps assist I would appreciate it.

It is working on my Home page, but the other pages in the menu it is not. I've cleared my web browser cache and joomla cache as well.
